Behind The Camera

Through The Viewfinder

Photography gives me a sense of purpose. Capturing moments in the lives of strangers, acquaintances, & those I love is extremely important to me. I want these photos to portray natural beauty & feeling, I want each one to be a page in the story behind every image. I want you to look at them & see my subject in the raw; where someone is from, where they're going, what they've been through along the way. I try to be someone who can honestly see things in people & capture these moments that most of us are too busy to notice. I want to leave a piece of myself wherever I go & I want to document it all along the way. Please feel free to share this journey with me.

My Equipment

I'm currently shooting with a Fuji x100 23mm f2, a Canon AE-1 24mm f2.8 & 50mm f1.8, a 1970's Pentax 6x7 90mm (not pictured), & an 1950's Agfa Isolette 85mm f4.5 (not pictured). I use a Lumu Light Meter to measure exposure & typically shoot with Kodak Portra film.
